Checking the status of PM Kisan scheme credit

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme was launched in 2019 as a social welfare scheme for Indian farmers. The scheme offers Rs.6000 annual credit to landholding farmers of India to help them financially. The amount is credited in three instalments of Rs.2000 each over the year.
After the scheme was launched, the Prime Minister regularly released instalments to fund Indian farmers. Recently, on 27th February 2023, the 13th instalment was released when the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, was visiting Karnataka. Valuing Rs.16,000 crores, the amount has been credited to eligible farmers’ bank accounts.
