RBI’s list of bank holidays for 2022

A list of holidays in 2022 under the Negotiable Instruments Act, during which banks in India would not be operational.

It is vital to be aware of bank holidays so you can smoothly carry out all the financial transactions you need to. As a rule, all the banks in the country remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month as well as all Sundays. This apart, there are some national and regional holidays during which the banks remain shut.
