Bankman-Fried is the founder of Alameda Research, a quantitative trading firm, and FTX, a popular derivatives exchange. Larsen developed a software that enables instant and direct transfer of money between two parties. The Winklevoss brothers co-founded a cryptocurrency exchange called Gemini in 2014 (Cameron remains the company’s president, while Tyler is the CEO). Saylor redeemed his company with his early Bitcoin purchase, while McCaleb left Ripple to focus on a new project called Stellar.
