About DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations

The drone manufacturing start-up has many named investors backing it. Besides the investors named earlier, the company secured investment from Harshal Mode, Ashish Nanda and Wellstone Capital before its IPO.

According to the company’s press release, some of its achievements are as follows –

  • In 2022, the company became the first privately-owned venture to secure the Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO) license certified by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
  • Since March 2022, DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations has trained more than 180 drone pilots.
  • For the first quarter of the financial year 2023, the company has reported a total revenue of Rs.3.09 crores and a net profit of Rs.72.06 lakhs.
  • The company intends to manufacture Indian-made drones for surveillance on land and also underwater.
